Returning to Hotel Die Swaene after a long day of exploring, you’ll be greeted with a smile and welcomed to the warmth and comfort of the abode. A heated indoor swimming pool offers the perfect place to relax, with gentle lighting and Japanese themed decor. Take a step back in time in the Guild of Merchant Taylors, a 1779 world heritage salon. Choose a drink and put up your feet, then soak up the soothing sounds of the crackling open fire.

There’s no shortage of restaurants in Bruges, from fine dining to local home-cooked cuisine. Saturated with great Belgium beer and hand crafted chocolates, you’ll be ready to call it a night. Head to your bedroom and slip on your robe and slippers. Warm, rich colours and gentle lighting create the perfect ambiance to unwind. Take out your favourite book, or perhaps pour a glass of wine. This is your time.

Since visiting, Hotel Die Swaene has divided into two small establishments. On one side of the canal remains the original hotel, and where the patio rooms were across the water is now a small luxury hotel in itself. Having experienced both buildings, it’s safe to say you won’t be disappointed with either.
